The UAH Women of Astronautics and Aeronautics (WoAA) chapter is an organization dedicated to empowering underrepresented people in the aerospace and aero-adjacent industries. We are an international initiative to support and empower underrepresented genders in the aeronautic and astronautic fields. We are open to all women, gender minorities, and allies, and we are a trans-inclusive organization that welcomes individuals who identify as gender non-conforming.
We aim to provide a wide variety of professional development activities including resume workshops, public speaking workshops, company information sessions, and panel discussions
UAH WoAA hopes to hold technical panels, workshops and tutorials, collaborative projects, and conference preparation
Outreach opportunities can include interfacing with K-12 students in the community, participating in local events, and promoting women in STEM on campus and within the Huntsville community
Member advancement in UAH WoAA can include potential opportunities for members such as GRE prep, graduate school preparation, and network expansion
Check back for upcoming events throughout the semester!
